There’s a fabulous hidden gem just near East Perth, that, well – isn’t so well hidden any more – and its name is Diamond Heels!

This is no diamond in the rough, folks. Kerry’s incredible shoe room has become a must-visit destination.

Whether you’re prepping for a fitness competition, need a new pair of performance heels or simply want something eye-catching, Diamond Heels has become the place to find it.

Investing in shoes or boots is a big deal. We’re thrilled to have Diamond Heels sponsoring PIBF 2020…and you should too!

We asked the fabulous Kerry for some of her tips for buying shoes, and what she’s looking forward to at PIBF:

Q: Tell us about what Diamond Heels do..

Kerry: Diamond Heels are a by-appointment shoe room in Perth. We provide a fun and personalised shoe shopping experience. We have a huge range of amazing heels and boots to suit all tastes and sizes! We even stock some styles up to size 17.

Q: What’s your best advice for matching a shoe to an outfit?

Kerry: You have to feel beautiful in your outfit and heels, comfort is important (sometimes..!) but it will depend on a few factors – do you need to dance, walk or just look a-mazing!?

I have a couple of go-to tips for matching shoes to your outfit or costume:

  1. Match clothes with patterns with one solid colour heels and the reverse, match patterned heels with single colour clothes!
  2. If you’re struggling to decide, my rule is simple – for any outfit you are undecided what heels to wear; slip on a black, white or nude heel!

Q: Any insider secrets on how to stay comfortable in your shoes?

Kerry: Break your heels in! I cannot recommend this enough. Wear them for 10-15 minutes every day for a few days at least put on your new heels and do functional “home duties” – wash the dishes, make the bed, vacuum etc – the heels should feel like an extension of you!

If your heels are too big or they have stretched, use a gel insole or party feet to add a little comfort and make them fit better.

If you need more stability – add a detachable ankle strap (DAS). You can make almost any strapless heel into a strapped, more stable heel.

Q: If you had to pick a some shoes to suit the themes of our events, what would you pick?

Kerry: For black tie glamour I would choose the TEEZE-06R. I just love the Bordello Teeze range and the iridescent rhinestones add glamour. And they just look so damned good! You can’t go wrong with gorgeous red or iridescent silver.

For the Glitter Crash Afterparty it would have to be BALLET-1025 (below top image)  because, well just Look. At. Them. How can you not go WOW?? They are different, make a statement and are a challenge to walk in. Plus look amazing in photos. Definitely the BALLET-1025 or a pair of chaps – DELIGHT-5000 (below bottom image) are always a good conversation piece!

Q: If you could put a shoe on our headliner Bettie Bombshell what would you pick and why?

Kerry: I’d love to see Bettie in a pair of 7” FEARLESS-700-28 because they remind me of her – strong, fearless, amazing, beautiful and not be messed with. A real statement piece for a fierce lady!
