The Perth International Burlesque Festival Is Comin’ In Hot This October

Strap yourself in and prepare for some truly dazzling entertainment right before your eyes – the Perth International Burlesque Festival is returning for its ninth annual show-stopping celebration.

From Friday 7 to Tuesday 25 October 2022, the festival will see a line-up of magnificent performances, experiences, and workshops dedicated to the art of tease; plus you will have the opportunity to network across the half-month span.

The Perth International Burlesque Festival is said to bring ‘unparalleled International and Australian burlesque, cabaret and variety performers to Perth and regional Western Australia’.

The main events of the fabulous fete include The Tease Factory, and Teaser Peep Show both held at The Court in Perth, Club Burlesque at the Astor Theatre in Mount Lawley, and Glitter Crash at Connections Nightclub in Northbridge. And Geraldton will even see the Regional Roadshow at the open-air Queens Park Theatre.

Each event is set to display the crème de la crème of burlesque, with Club Burlesque hosted by the internationally acclaimed Grand Duchess of Cabaret, Kiki DeVille. Your eyes will feast on a stunning array of performers including headliners: 21st Century Burlesque’s Top 50 Most Influential Burlesque Figure title holder, Gina Stirling, and Mr Boylesque Australia, Karl Kayoss.

The Perth International Burlesque Festival creates ‘a platform that is world-class where all are encouraged to help launch the Perth and WA Burlesque industry into the International scene’.
